Best bar snacks around - all my Christmas’s came at once when I saw pickled onions, cheese and Cabanossi skewers! And even better, you can get a bowl of Jatz to go with it! Winning @timeoutsydney cocktail bar awards of 2020; @doubledeucelounge is underground venue, named after the dive bar in Patrick Swayze movie Road House. It is certainly on theme with the plush walls, old school 70’s snacks and staff sporting some mighty fine moustaches. It was busy so we were squeezed into a furry walled booth and provided with the VHS case showcasing the retro cocktail menu

A great chill basement bar serving up craft cocktails. I enjoyed both my cocktails (Daytime Emmy and Full Bush) and had a nice chat with Cosmo, the owner. I loved the laidback atmosphere and chill music, a nice relaxing spot nestled within the hustle and bustle of the CBD. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Sydney

Do you remember the 21st of September? I definitely do, and our night at Double Deuce Lounge was the ultimate retro throwback! From the nostalgic VHS menus to a special nod to Patrick Swayze, every detail took us back in time in the best way. My friends and I were blown away by the atmosphere and the incredible attention to detail from the staff, creating an unforgettable experience for a friend’s birthday celebration. Thank you, Double Deuce, for making the 21st of September magical—can’t wait to come back!

The pub has a nice atmosphere, making it a great place to relax. The wine was smooth and enjoyable, and the cocktails were unique and well-crafted. A great spot for a night out. I’ll definitely be back!

10/10 a must visit. Everything just hit with this place. The drinks were fantastic, the team are super friendly and hospitable and the atmosphere is great. The decor really feels like it has been plucked from the 70s. Think that has to be one of my new favourite bars and will be coming here again when I come back to Sydney.

Atmosphere 9/10 Cozy, Roadhouse movie themed cocktail bar in the basement. A lot of cool design elements from the movie. Pleasant music volume - great to have a conversation. Stylish back bar Drinks 9/10 Recommendation: Talk of the Town Cool menu design (VHS tape cover) and good selection of cocktails. Simple garnish. Nice coasters. Cocktails tasted great Service 7/10 Cool bartenders (shoutout to MJ), water served on the spot. Prices a bit above average for Sydney

A very nice hidden bar. Some very good cocktails. The snacks were good as well. The ambience was amazing. The lights, the music, the interiors were all impressive. Quiet spacious. The staffs were very polite and pleasant. Awesome service. And the toilets were very neat and clean.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. the venue itself is pretty small but oh my god it is the most quaint, moody, romantic, atmosphere ever. it wasn’t loud at all so you can actually hear each other instead of screaming into each others ears over a live jazz band. i asked for a drink that wasn’t on the menu (french 75) and they were able to make it and it turned out pretty good so def going back just for that. overall if you’re looking for a dimly lit, quiet, aesthetic, romantic bar for a few drinks with friends or s/o, 1000% check this place out.
